EtvHelp is a stand-alone help authoring tool for Windows. This is a freeware program. Source code is available.

Convenient interface, many features, parsing of Delphi units. Topics are stored in a .dbf file.

Works with Microsoft Help Compiler or others. BDE v 4.0 or higher must be installed.

Known problem: If you have DBase Level=7 in the BDE DBase native driver you must set Level=5 when creating a new help project.
